connect our delicious lips

the cloak is on

and the time has come

I could have been here as out there

over the river and through the neighborhoods

never stopping for even a moment

not unless I see a time to

ever so gently stir up some ghosts

could you have wanted a

ten night vacation staying here and not

over-wearing out our welcome

unless you can see full moon starlight

right up until the pain of sunlight burns in

down to the moment when I can tell from

every look on your face

like the one not staring at me now

it’s telling me exactly how you stand

can’t you have seen the

insane way we proceeded on

only to find out how normal we weren’t

usually if I can give up a song of quiet

silvery shine of the

lonely night I first texted you

I was only hoping for a forever moment

please accept my dissect-able heart

so I can move on with life
