pain and romance

part of me is so used to discomfort
and heartbreak is my most familiar pain
in the company of people sufferig through thier days
nightly questions that the moon will ponder
after we have chosen to greet the sunrise
nothing is as comforting as your arms
drooped around my neck
right when the perfect song comes on
only you can give me the true reassurance
making me stop thinking of depression and death
and at least get a good feeling to happen
not one time have i felt like you were
coming from far away to find me
every time we embrace i feel we were not apart

digesting blame

don’t say another word
it isn’t time to be that honest
give me enough reason to continue right now
every part of my body is screaming to run yet
staying is my only option again in this
temperamental period of life
instinct creeps in around the edges of my thoughts
needing to let me know how painful all this is
gripping the connected meeting of life and love
burning a hole in my awareness and memory
letting me get a moment
awake and still dreaming
making up my mind
each day is now mine to waste with you

culmination

while i talk
your direction and make as good a try
as i can do just like you don’t see through
after the hard times passed and we
make it to the other side together
across many of a collected cheese, chips,
and forgotten juices, mixers, and loud songs;
as if a hot day and a cold drink when
your thoughts culminate in friends
coming to gaze at the very same table
that we made as all corrected faces
compose themselves as a better year
when we have to forgotten each other
and almost feeling the branches grow
on each other all together all in a row
just go ahead and
put out there
what it is that you know
because we got a whole future getting ready to flow

every day is a test
every life has its challenges
when you have come back to a
set of circumstances that you recognize
you can have belief that you will perservere
because you have learned much since
you have been here before
and the road is not the only thing that
has been run over before
you have strength even if you do not feel it sometimes
you have abilities even if you do not feel like it
find your best way to recharge your battery
and never forget
you are the connection to the energy flow
and always remember
there are people you inspire
even if you do not know it
and the tallest tree in the forest may be power
yet was once a tiny seed

insistence

after the “once upon a time” you dreamt
up while we were or weren’t here again
but now onto a mountain you grow slow groove like
maybe you knew you were or weren’t supposed to
be coming
over the times listed the person and where they
were meant to go and be
whenever a modern likeness has
shown you whereupon the elevator was and
“only” was a word we endured as well as “should”
on the roof in the basement or out by a park
not a single time we went out and i doubt you
of an often leaning tower of
meaning to be there or a
should have, could have, would have
type of late night free style
that gets there
but then
beware, beware, beware

just keep explaining

juniper and tomatoes around the corner
using every bit that you can
sometimes, someone that you want is like
testing itch that
keeps on reminding you that it is there
even you scratched it as well as you may
even if you went so far as to ignore the
pain and scraped so hard along the way
extreme as the layer of flesh that
x-rays or ultra violet pictures show you
pierced or claw off ’till there was a
little tiny bit of fleeing blood sprout
approaching bright red becoming maroon
inside yesterdays precious cocoon while we are
never hesitating to make everything new
in time you will want me like i want you
never have i cared as much for the dawn next to someone
get my mind on what really matters

faced wishlist

faces reflected in the glass
after all of the returned inner frustration
coming up from the ocean sized forest
even when you know how to proceed
doing a favor to your future self
when you leave home you always look twice
in the mirror to make sure you
see what you think you seek into forever
having a complete plan
like i knew where we wanted to be once again
if we ate there once we would go ten times so then
seek that final cost that we can ask for
taste this happy future if you come back where you were

in someone’s dreary cave of life.
no other person should effect you beyond what you are allowing them to and fly fast and hard and get
to the point where each wound is what makes you try harder, no,                                      succeed better toward your own inner strength.  that mean coworker, and that bad driver, and that person close to you who treats you so bad?                                                  they are the lesson to make you learn…

up there

why was the information
seeming forever hard to see unless
you fight to pretend that the
fear you have known before
is off of the once and future times
that the important plan you saw is here
where you knew that the
fitting realm suprised you out of nowhere
but i assume you kept a bit
of all the discussions had since
and once you
recognize how the clouds come in
after a few of these make-
shift realms keep on putting out
needfull dreams
unexcused
and far from the hills
we hiked when we were young
after all the bottles and conversations
were empty but
while a long path to overnight
makes the dawn almost here
white sunbeams made to
straight up the rocks whenever
we weave a few songs often together
fight against the hours of
tedious society showing the
common residence of a place to
hide from but a lot of thinking about
ten thousand seconds that can
make or break your
summer
but like i learned back a bit ago
beasts (such as dogs)
like tons of attention but do not
want to be overloaded,
as most of us are,
as many of us will always be
