beware guided choice

belonging to something
entirely bigger than yourself
wishing for an impact that can have some
arranged agreement with what should be put
right in this hurtfull time in the world that
every one of us
gets to experience every time we open our eyes
unless you don’t go out and see every detail or
in case your mind does not get the news
devoting an entire year of work is
effort that is just a beginning compared to many others
don’t let anything drag you down ever again
can you be positive in the midst of persuasive evil?
have you battled the depths of meanness?
only your own mind can make life better for
instances in the future when misfortunes become cruel
can you continue to be
everything you know you can be, yes and yes

In correct devotions

in time, the problems that have
needlessly begun to worry all over you
can be dismissed in the freedom of
other social circles you never really cared for
revealed in these ill-connected words
rolling out of my mouth like dice well-tossed
empty brain barely even collecting the ears up
causing thoughts to crash together like waves
thundering around the walls of my cave-mind
during the night when a few questions
erode some willpower, taking persistence to a new level
volumes of writings that adorn the floor
old notebooks, syllables from a previous life
told by the red years to hang around a bit longer
in case a fire comes cruising in the door
only you make me feel a million feet tall
not worthless like everything else does,
sometimes it is ice, sometimes it is glass

portal to vanishing

playing with emotions like
organizing the toys your pet adores
really taking into account other peoples opinions or
these feelings you stir up in the air
all around here when you act like you don’t care
little details will give it away
then beware what can happen to you next because
of how you have brought this on yourself
virtual as all the discomfort is
around the idea that you only feel what you show
not that you feel comfortable showing anything
if i was gone you would just keep going on
shouldn’t be any other way, really
how many times must the same mistakes keep happening
it seems as if you have not got the ability
nobody needs me now, so
going to give you my everything while i still can

sunshine smiles

shifting from slow to fast

usually the way a sunset goes

needing to give in to the wanderlust

so that these normal days fade away

holding hands to

increase the heat

now why must my brain curse me so

every compliment comes armed with meanness

shy looks that make me feel you

mostly aching for your affection

in the minutes I stop to think once more

little doubts crushed by my commitment to you

each mistake I make is burned into my ego

should I ever need to feel better I turn to you

Drive the car

Like it is your vehicle of desire

And you know the road so well

And you will not be denied

While the day is ending

On a good inspiration to revive this

One correlation that so many hours

And weeks and months

Have been unknowingly building towards

I was on the way to my destiny

More than I ever knew it

Across the country is not that far

When you have gotten word of acceptance

And the one who is there for you is waiting

You are charging fast on your way

Even if the scars have not fully healed

But you know where you are meant to be

Nothing can stop the momentum of our past

Coming in full clash with our future

And fixing the best flow of joyful

Meant-to-be serendipity

Only you

Could have brought me

From the top of the mountain

To the beach and back again

And I willingly go wherever

The charm of your distant heart will

Lead while the sight of you

In glorious memory is like the

Reflection of the sum off of a mirror

In the times we got together

I see our touch as the electricity of

One light that leads the way to a

Entire megaverse of happy and connected

Energy which fulfills and places a

Desire to never be apart from you ever,

No matter what happens

Yet I know that both of our

Relentless interconnectivity

Will seek each other out even if the

Land should shift and the wind will rise up

Even if the manipulation of time and space

Can make more effort than us yet the gods

Who are on our side know that our

Two souls are gems that are paired

Together for all of eternity through the

Ages and beyond,

For sometimes two are one

Places Pushed
Back into the memory
Of an afterlife that we have
All the time in the world
Burning deep within our past
Like a fire, built out of every
Pinecone in the entire forest
Young branches mixed in the discussions
Of every touching moment that close ones
Have been around to have
But on top of a pair of eyes squinting in the cold
Is a whole mess of mop head that
The wind had the first hello to this morning
And does it appear amazing that I am
Completely recalling the night long ago
When we shared a blanket and
Watched the conversation move the time along
Wishing for the clock to stop
So we could stare at each other
And talk without worrying about the dawn
If you could put your hand on
Mine and remember the tides of
March that bring us together

tough road

sometimes life is like a sickness
or a trap
inside of the making of a realization
when you have found out who is there for you
and who can get what they want and not care
and knowing the difference is like a path
where the rocks are like glass
that shatter when you step
but the ending is in sight
and worth it
but if you know the injuries just add to your endurance
you will make it
but never forget to keep in mind
if you have accomplishments and dreams
do not pay attention to those
who run over your goals
just make your new goal
getting past it
and the sun will shine on your front door

misplaced conditions

March was so long ago

In the future is next month so far away

Shifting in thought because I am

Placed in a box every night and at first

Light in the sky I am let out to perform

And do chores required of me

Chained up symbols of where young ideas suffer

Each time I envision the future

Doing what is asked of me every single time

Combining plots of escape with designed imagination

On the occasion that I somehow manage to dream at

Night it is often of love like a fresh beginning brings

Different from being ruled over as I am now

It seems like passion is something like only movie actors show

That is the only time I see affection without anguish

Intensity and pain are like clothes I am forced to wear

Only sleep is a moment of relaxing but sometimes

Not even then if reality finds a way to creep in

Someday I will get away and be free

realization

if then and if when
the red hearts grow upon
a new hidden fate
if hate and if hope
you know you inspire me so
i promise you a chance like this only comes so often
a first
at the spark
eating up air
and molding a direction
making a way and using what is there
using what can be used,
growing,
as a type of devouring
of an often dangerous nature
taking furous and quick next steps,
evolving,
and becomes the teeth that
warriors must fight against
upon land once so lush
an ecology which is nearly decimated
will embark on a green rebuilding year
once enough time has passed
but those who kept the battleground
after pulling survivors from the tumult aftermath
yet coming together in the fury
and grafted speedy departure
we mourn and hurt inside the
searing heal
as is our losses and rememberance
yet are losses by charred scars and unrelated  parts
but are soothed by thanks to those who have scars and replaced  bits
