no relax moon

the revalations and games needled in,
a dream, a tree,
all of these were helping me last night
to the tune of a wind chime
and there is a sliver of light that
falls delicately across the floor
whispering to the endurance of
a very particular thought which does
keep its own company after the
demon of sleeplessness releases its grasp
fortune has drawn a circle around me
made of the ground up bones of
past mistakes and painfull memories
but i have defeated that monster
through focussed energies and power of will
yet the relaxation that comes before
rest will only arrive once i have
your amazing sighs by my side
and a peach chamomile hot toddy
to pride inside
