bright forest

Breezy movement wakes up the skin
Right when the light comes in through the leaves
Inside the courtyard of a cozy tiny kingdom
Golden rays shine on the metal table
Hitting the wet plants and fuzzy red cactus

Tucked into the spot where I can rest in my shady chair
Finding a cool drink and a pocket off silence right where I left them
On the end of today’s long exhausting path
Restless eyes and tired minds shake hands
Evidenced by the weak smiles and slow stretches we share
Soft sounds of nature and
Tiny glad minutes mean so much
