morning star

It was a heat
It felt like dangerous waters
I was on fire
I was not going to give up
I had a few wrong turns
I had a few battlefield thoughts
Do you know what steel smells like?
I saw my reflection
I raided the nightmare factory
Which is funny
Because I created it in the first place
And I kept on moving
Like a meal of sassy weather and
Drinks so strong they could carry you home
If they wanted to
