drifting away
to the last gasp of a night that
is perishing as the light comes to pass
along the edge of the horizon in
a tiny bit of rocks which make up
the mountain pass a right hand side
given a new flavor to all of life
like a bud of garlic
placed in a container since genisis
making a needed breath into
these generous leftover deconstructions
made active by the cold and heat
yet change rightly as compositions bring
nearly every gladness in the
way your sensations have appreciation
and the passage of minutes showed
those delicacies i give you
please me huge

returning home
the tale behind the curtain
as the lights fade to their proper décor
like a first realization of
a bit of chocolate covered pomegranite
begging for some time with honey
maybe when the orange taste has
faded from the tastebuds
and inside these four walls
plants and thier children carefully sit
and the amount of time it takes
just to eradicate any amount of thinking
in order to be at peace partially
with where you are currently in this life
the candles don’t burn
the drops coming from my eyes don’t mean anything
this is a home more than a house
what would you do if all this
was upon your shoulders?
you do the same thing that is true

the times going by sometimes racing
and crawling
but always the path that was
really meant to be
in this accomplishment to the
best future
when i shall believe
in the
lasting happiness
this direction will deliver when a complete design of the place we want to arrive, you are near
and i have no fear,
i was right next to you and we were going to be
this close all this year
as the colors change and these tempests wave after a collection of moments of wonderfullness intersect in a
timed collision of readiness

if it was last year at
this time exactly then all of the
ingredients which led up to this
moment would be the mudslide that
people never saw coming
and this was as far as the
campers knew after it was
taking too long to be the kitten day
information that helps you
not keep up with the times that
getting to know you even knew
unless we just keep together and at that point
some of the best times of our life lie ahead

zoo and courtyards

zero percent chance of a path
on the order of your shining face
or this day when you tell me
after a few thousand seconds alone yet
nothing as close to you as i would wish
dominating the very recent memory as if
collecting the calm memories were the most important
of all when a songrises out of your
upturned hands as the sky spirals out
rediculous shimmering so bright and disappearing
teasing the reactions out of you
yawning together as the final hour
arrives and ceases this hesitating tomorrow
reaching for the story you read most nights
defining nothing but absorbing everything
sometimes you just need the comfiness

part the waves soon

peeking up between the blades of grass
a new eye has taken hold
through the meteorological directions
having heat and light merry and together
each hour is a place foretold, answering
where the debate of yesterday was
afraid to change the consistent
very happy, actually, to join the reaction
entertaining or amusing but acting the scene
seconds after these adjectives fly
searing these words into a plate of memory
on the occasion of a lucky time remembering
only taken choices putting the maze in
neat little kisses and unique strawberry cheeks

put all of the worries in a basket
letting them drift off down the river
easy as a sunset going down
after the course of the wind has
shown true colors of this section of a
extreme range of the beauty of comfiness
romancing the path to our weak weekend
emitting the feeling of a final place of peace
leaking deep in your mind like an hourglass
aquiring a resistance to these everyday things
x is the letter of your least favorite medicine
intense as both of those pictures are
nothing makes me feel as good as
getting to have you here in my arms

no place far away

now you see the dissolving of the season
on the time you get to go home
picking the perfect time to go out for
loudness, laughter and lights
after you seek enough and saw enough then
coming back in seems twice as relieving
every part of you relaxes even more
in the memories of the eve you can see
some of where we go and have been
for when our good times are done i feel
all the tired smiles are what we needed
really here in the after-times is a healing glow
across the room i hear you ask
when you want another drink and a kiss
and i am here for you as i always do
yawning the glorious energies of the young year
