not enough time in the day to
improve all the directions that this
current situation has become so entrenched
in, that it seems no choice is the good
one which would help the most,
not enough time in this afternoon to track
down all the mistakes and backup the missed
opportunities, that a fix of the wrong
decisions which caused this box of
disconnected puzzle pieces,
not enough time in this hour to do all
the things which have now arrived at the front
of my mind, the ideas which can solve and inspire
and collect all together the works of
which i have thought,
not enough time in this minute to
apologize to everyone who you did wrong and
to thank everyone who did right by you and to get
ready to move on after saying all the goodbyes…

coming out about how there is
completely obvious  is no balance of power
off in the corners of the spectrum
unleashed new rage is rising up once again
narrowing the edge between societies’ gaps
tracking down the requirements of a
abstract wave of unrefined deconstruction
blustered by morals valued and applied yet
introduced to tolerated discrimination which
light the fire in the furnace of the future
inclined into conversions of history
that no amount of simple conversation can do
young eyes that are no longer on the outside
often the change is as big as the storm
predicted but never precise in arriving
every day is a surprise

checking the time a
hard path out of the current situation
roads that do not see a lot of traffic and
only people arriving with a purpose come here
not only is it an unfound place but
organized streets do not get built around here
like when the first trails were being tested
over the next hill could be
getting to land we wish to claim
intention can shape an entire system of thought
capture the exact goal and break it down
across a timeline that is for sure accomplishable
let go of the weaknesses until
finding the destiny is there for you
operate on your life like practicing an instrument
return to those happier years
make each day flower

profession misdirection

paper and commerce
ruining a thousand mornings a minute
overtaking the kindness and replacing with
frustration in travel and hostile destinations
eventually arriving then tied to a clock
stirring around and desperate for distraction
spill the entire days thoughts on a notepad
instruct the future on how to avoid becoming like others
over time it gets easier to stay
no matter if a winter storm warning is headed your way
maybe it works best paired with some thoughts with traction
if you want to get ahead use action with
satisfaction
do the activities of last night even get remembered and
if they are will that have any effect
reset after twenty four hour change
edit the moments and memories in your favor
click the switch and it starts all over again
turn offers to be distracted away
included in these last remaining hours
only the satisfaction of making you happy
no other thing makes me feel so exuberant

common delusional

cannot see where this is going but
over there in the next year is making me excited
molded by each hour which is the next chance
making sure i know what i believe
only i now control my own body
never will i doubt my mind as it imagines
dining on the memories of each of life’s rememberings
endure the torture that modern living provides
let those minutes glide by like rain down the drain
using every direction that i need to plan
so deep dark and complicated not everyone can understand
if the days end this good then
of course i look forward to tomorrow
not a day goes by that i will not feast that way
as long as i can find my path to come back to you
love like this feels so true

when it seems impossible is
the exact time to carry on and if
you find the adjustment within yourself
then the reasoning can still stand, to give
in to weakness is what you do when
you decide that hate makes so much more
sense then you are not being truly
strong, you have to persevere and get a
better grip on a world we all live in
and let one disappointment strike
you so hard the you never really got
the message and a lot of misguided
souls have fallen for that so don’t give in
like them but instead rise up and find a
way to get above that disgusting fear that
guides this whole rat race and if you
ever find yourself beginning to slip
remember that even the purest hearts
can be tainted if they let themselves fall,
and even the best among all who exist
can be brought down if
they stop standing up for what is right

meaning

demonizing the enemy makes
you into a demon too and the
attraction of hate is stronger than so
very many other things in life but if
you are always careful none of the
real worries will bring you down unless you
become the ones that need to be worried about
yet the complications come if you have not
been aware of the weaknesses that can
bind you up and drag you down and if the
work put into your life helps you make
amends then who near you will ever need
to feel anxiety again because the greatest
storm will always end and even the
worst enemy can someday become a friend
if you let them but the people who hurt
you cannot be allowed to stop
you from moving on if you have to

and confirm where this year needs to end up at
tension relief coming in the form of quiet
inside the mind little secret codes
complications sometimes designed by the brain
clearing the way for a reduction of frustration

really manipulate like good deal appreciation
remain inside the one-way dead-end street
exit stage left like a shakespeare ghost
coming up with no excuses as if a drill going deep down

determining person

drifting away
even when i am standing right here,
the weightlessness of my limbs keeps crawling,
eager to close, my eyes struggle to stay open,
roasting yet cold, the organs begin slowing and
minutes go by before i feel my heart beat again,
if i don’t concentrate on breathing i may be
not continuing to do it very much longer,
if there are sounds it seems so far away and
no feeling on my skin even though i wear clothing,
getting cold water in my mouth as if a brand new experience,
playing games in my sight as sleep digs in the claws,
either moving a bit slow or twitchy faster than usual,
reporting nerves are shifty like a barely connected phone line,
seems everything is heavier and
only the light is getting through and i don’t want it to,
now my only goal is to return to you

when you finally see the person you want to be,
originally it can be a little daunting,
really concentrate and just don’t lose focus,
ready to ignore any person who won’t support it,
you now that some days you feel
it stronger than you do others,
nevermind the doubt just treat it like
clouds that will pass even if there is a storm in them,
inside ever mind is some demons that need slaying,
now just pull a fist full of fire from your heart and
end every night by planning tomorrows battle,
rotate through whatever tools you have to help you,
actions, thoughts, and communication,
then focus them like a lazer in the right direction,
if i picture a future with you in it
opening up to the possibilities i can dominate,
nothing fuels me like your passion
