deadly prayers

drifting among the temptations hiding,
each new corner turned like a narrow space,
and you have to fit through it to escape the danger,
danger that emits from the dark corners of
large fears in all the possible forms it can take,
your imagination has found the
pause to see is worse than the horrors that be,
reviewing an approach which seems to have safety,
across the hesitation rides some tension,
young as dawn but old as time itself,
enduring the ever changing mental landscape,
reminded that i found you to give you whatever you need,
should i pass on soon then drink a guinness for me
