desolation avenue

dare to do what you really should,
even if it means sacrificing your goals,
surprised by the good results,
or suffering to make someone else
live a little easier,
accumulation of the last giving act
that comes in a person’s existence and
increases that individuals desire to be alive,
on the day that small troubles seem giant and
none of the giant problems seem stoppable,
around tempestuous years of
vetting the ignorant and mean out of the system,
endure to make the future better for others,
now is the time to rise up and fight,
use the persistence that dwells inside,
every day you shine in my eyes
