enduring temperment

empty your pockets and get a bite
now you can put your feet up
didn’t think you would impress me to go out drinking
unless we had an agreement
right when the night gets
interesting i find myself all alone with thought of you again
never would have guessed where this would happen
get that sentence out of your head
three times this year we removed that fear
emptied your stomach on the parking lot
maybe was a little grateful i gave you a
paper towel and a safe spot to rest
eight different strong liquors all collided inside you
resolved to not do this anytime soon
make up a good reason why these mistakes were okay
equal to the darkness is the light of the next day
nobody makes me feel like you
teeth that are sharp, words that are soft
