quick velocity

Questions come floating out of the dark
Underneath the warm blanket
Inside the dream state that you are
Curled around in a circle of snuggles
Keep feet warm under a fury beast
Voices quiet in a grey and blue night light
Ending a busy week with tiny flame
Like a single light in a tree
Or a candle left on the table of holidays
Can’t find a way to stop Or even slow time
It is too soon Tomorrow again today
Taking every step as slow as we can go
You must know by now I never want to leave u
