vital to us moving together
is knowing where the other person is
taken by the hand, what will happen next
after today i can dance whenever i want to
like a star in the sky i shine as long as i can
connected to these energies all around
on top of the roof and under the basement
minds that are seperate but one complete unit
playing with reality like an air hockey game
observing all of the ripples in the pool
near the spot that means the most to me
enduring the loss of thinking ability
need the nerves to finally unwind
three words i will give you tonight

Fridays are no fun without you
of the many people i know only you
use every bit of time in envious glorious ways
needing a pal, i was lucky to find a
dedicated soul that is more than a better half
from moments like these to the rest of my days
other than being near you nothing will matter
rituals of myth, theatre, and food
evoke connections that speak from ages past
victory over a future that walked the cliff’s peak
enduring a despair that was needed
roaming this reality by your side

waste a day and wait again with you
after we stay down and don’t forget
sometimes to wait and sit aware while you
take a moment to be
every place you want to see
across the hours
needing just the company of someone who
only wants to sit here
take a minute to do exactly nothing
hope and future having a silent conversation
empty as a pen that doesn’t write anymore
reminded of an empty page on a legal pad
during the time here we
await and are more at a new level of awareness
you finally know just what to say

when we play like this we soar
hours pass before you notice
once the skull pillow was mine but
everytime, everybody, everyone reminds of you
vices have no reminder of
equal time, day or night or
royal gowns to go with your ear-rings
confirmed little words and tender
allowances while working hand-in-hand
leaning forward due to an unsupportive couch
like a trout without an upward stream
so know what i mean it is more than just a dream
after the sunset lets go out
give me some time
and we can share lots
if you let me i can give you everything
now i know where i should be

crying familiar

collecting the things that can bring
reminders of whenever you do
your favorite things
if i had the power to make every
night full of smiles and songs and soup
getting to be here with you is
fun like a nighttime candle light boat ride
as the stars sing classically down
making the shiny trees slowly sway
intense as the frozen moment can seem
leave you rbody an observe from the outside
inside i have this desire to be
around you every moment i possibly can

provided assistance

placed on the back of a
rotting ship going down then
over time you see what your options are
very aware of the end result
if you decide to do nothing or
do what it is you have to
either make a plan to try and escape the fate
doing a choice in the direction
after facing what options exist while you
stay away from going underwater
sharks will let you know if they have
interest in your scent
so make a conclusion as
the progress will be calculated in measurements
after the level rises
none of your chances come without consequences
carried by the heat of
every thought of impending death

parties are never as fun if you are not
residing next to wherever the
energies are culminating in laughs or dances
perhaps a tall glass or the
arrival of something strong and sweet and sour
red light in a sign behind the floor
eager to turn up the beats in this song
bouncing and flowing while taking a sip
right now your touch is actually amazing
use your eyes to instruct me where to go
including you in all of our mind’s choices
somewhere in outside sources our timelines collide
empathic minds can sense each other when
some of the guarded walls are peeked over

revoke the desire to be alone
emptyness lives in my core
take the last moment to refine and decide before
ripping out the heartfull motivations
emitting the glow of someone who is cared for
admit that you are powerless in her company
tempt, yes, to be the only answer given
comments from one person are the ones that matter
opening my eyes just to make me smile at you
ready to do whatever you want me to
nobody stops the days like a perfect sunset and
every minute you think of me nicely

forever the times that cannot be recaptured
in your memory may still have a home
not supplied with the reasons to
arrive where it is you are at
like a life you lived that is dead but now revived
recall a long lost story that meant so much
eager as i am to hold you
across the hours i have to
let my mind be taken off that particular subject
inside of my home is the two girls i want to see most
zoning out as i picture the four-legged one napping
as the sunburn fades on my darling’s shoulders
tasty little smooch that is like an energizing drink
if you knew me like you know that song
on top of a cloud i would ride all night long

can the top of your mood be seen
or reached when you have a not too
numb moment and you finally feel
finding out why all the painful times are so real
include me in the plans you have brewed up
rob the song of that one final note
make every second count while you can
into the realm of mood trouble-shooting
not even the family gives a call when this starts
growing new roots out of the direction of ife
don’t want anything except
as much touch from you as i am hoping for
that would be a connection i could hope to have
each and every day
