catching letters

catching letters on the paper in time
across the air sounds of perfect syllables
twist and dance and find a way to stretch
collecting a few happy thoughts
halfway through the end of summer already
if it was up to me then i will open the cave
not going to remove the lock on your heart
give your everything or sit down
letting a beast of energy out for an
evening that needs a growl
there are no paths that lead here besides your own
think i would know better than to help the drowning
each time makes the loss even worse
right in time to remind the brain’s fireworks
staying awake until midnight tonight

dare to become what you want
remember while you strive, that
only the very wisest people
watch more than they talk and
need to listen when others need to leave,
important as you belive light is,
night is when you can observe all flaws
growing in your soul will
be what rewards you more than anything else
onto the next
taste of what the buffet of life has for you
take into your brain what everything means
let it sift into you logic like melting cheese
end all doubt

accept the help you always
do not say you want or need
daring yourself to be that kind of brave
if you smother certain thoughts they come back stronger
that is the last thing anyone wants
inside you are in tune with what is happening
into your life, little leaf after leaf, all made of dreams
now will fall, each in thier own deeper meaning
after a pile is built, you see yourself clearer
looking at your own mind to see what you
need to have opened up in your heart
only nowadays can you see people with no passion or devotion
turning thier world upside down
especially glad to be here with you day after day
show me midnight once more

enduring today

effort has been shown in the
new area that i found myself living
directed at the time of year that counted
under a clear sky the night feels like day
rejected the idea of waiting any longer
information included in my
nearly complete path of enlightenment
goddesses converge around your spirit as
those tiny flickers of sleep crawl in
off the wings of those who never sing the blues
do not doubt the effects of freedom
after a month like this who can blame tiredness
you must gather your energy today

ritual destruction

rushing to see you like I am late for something
in the time it took me to return home
three different panic attacks happen
until i saw the end of the highway
all i could picture was your pretty face
letting me know not to worry
during that moment i saw a car crash
edging over the street i take to get home
sometimes those can really get to me
can i apologize to you with a kiss but
remind you also how worried you can get
if i could i would remove all your tension
part of me just wants to curl up with you and
take a nap that lasts forever
in your words i read a hundered stories
on your eyes i see a thousand murals
now i see how broken everything is

vital component

vital to us moving together
is knowing where the other person is
taken by the hand, what will happen next
after today i can dance whenever i want to
like a star in the sky i shine as long as i can
connected to these energies all around
on top of the roof and under the basement
minds that are seperate but one complete unit
playing with reality like an air hockey game
observing all of the ripples in the pool
near the spot that means the most to me
enduring the loss of thinking ability
need the nerves to finally unwind

Fridays are no fun without you
of the many people i know only you
use every bit of time in envious glorious ways
needing a pal, i was lucky to find a
dedicated soul that is more than a better half
from moments like these to the rest of my days
other than being near you nothing will matter
rituals of myth, theatre, and food
evoke connections that speak from ages past
victory over a future that walked the cliff’s peak
enduring a despair that was needed

waste a day and wait again with you
after we stay down and don’t forget
sometimes to wait and sit aware while you
take a moment to be
every place you want to see
across the hours
needing just the company of someone who
only wants to sit here
take a minute to do exactly nothing
hope and future having a silent conversation
empty as a pen that doesn’t write anymore
reminded of an empty page on a legal pad
during the time here we
await and are more at a new level of awareness

when we play like this we soar
hours pass before you notice
once the skull pillow was mine but
everytime, everybody, everyone reminds of you
vices have no reminder of
equal time, day or night or
royal gowns to go with your ear-rings
confirmed little words and tender
allowances while working hand-in-hand
leaning forward due to an unsupportive couch
like a trout without an upward stream
so know what i mean it is more than just a dream
after the sunset lets go out
give me some time
and we can share lots
if you let me i can give you everything
now i know where i should be

reminders of whenever you do
your favorite things
if i had the power to make every
night full of smiles and songs and soup
getting to be here with you is
fun like a nighttime candle light boat ride
as the stars sing classically down
making the shiny trees slowly sway
intense as the frozen moment can seem
leave you rbody an observe from the outside
inside i have this desire to be
around you every moment i possibly can
