just because

I was writing once

doesn’t mean

that I was doing anything

I was just preparing for

the day when we were

eventually reunited

honing my skills

preparing my abilities

because without a doubt

you are who I was meant for

and so

were only there to give my

garden a rich variety

of nutrients to draw on

to show you the

bloom of my realization

of our good synchronicity
